That belief has guided my Community Clinic in Bellingen since 2010.
The clinic offers professional acupuncture and Shiatsu at a lower cost, making regular treatment more accessible for people in our community.
Sometimes the most important treatment is the one you can return to.
Why a Community Clinic?
Many health conditions improve gradually rather than all at once.
Often the body responds best to a series of treatments rather than a single visit.
By keeping treatments affordable, people are able to come more regularly when they need to.
For many people, that continuity becomes an important part of the healing process.
Community Acupuncture

Community acupuncture offers the same thoughtful, individualised care as a private consultation in a simpler setting.
Every treatment is guided by careful observation.
Every point is chosen specifically for the person in front of me.
The difference is simply that community acupuncture makes regular treatment more accessible.
Community Shiatsu
Wednesday mornings
Shiatsu is offered as a dedicated morning clinic, allowing each treatment to unfold without rushing or continually changing between different treatment styles.
The aim is not to push harder.
It is to listen more carefully.
Fees
The Community Clinic operates on a sliding scale.
$30–$70 per treatment
You simply choose an amount within that range according to your circumstances.
No questions.
No proof of income.
Those who are able to contribute a little more help make treatment accessible for others.
A Continuing Journey
The Community Clinic began in 2010 in a larger shared treatment space in Bellingen.
Since 2023 it has continued from my treatment room at Alchemy.
The setting has changed.
The intention has not.
The long-term vision is to expand into a dedicated community treatment space at Alchemy, allowing more people to receive regular treatment in a welcoming community environment.
